Seeded Chocolate and Cranberry Bark

Kitchen items needed:

  • Parchment paper
  • Baking sheet tray
  • Access to a stove
  • Saucepan with at least 4 inch sides and stainless steel bowl to fit over pan
  • Spatula for scraping chocolate from bowl
  • Measuring cup
  • 1 - 2 cups water
  • Knife
  • Small bowl
  • Apron
  • Oven mitt

Ingredients needed:

  • 3 ounce dark chocolate bar (60% or 70% cocoa)
  • 3 ounces semisweet chocolate chips or 3 ounce milk chocolate bar (or both dark chocolate bars)
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds (optional)
  • ¼ cup flax seeds (optional)
  • Pinch ground cinnamon

Topping Suggestions: ¼ cup each of at least 3 of the following:

  • Roasted and salted sunflower and/ or pumpkin seeds
  • Salted pretzels
  • Dried cranberries, apricots or raisins
  • Fresh fruit like tangerines and blueberries are great
    toppings as well

Serves 4 - 6.
