From the comfort of your own home, join us for a meditation event focused on developing mindfulness. Trained mindfulness and meditation teacher Frances Lacuesta will lead a guided meditation followed by a short talk on the benefits of meditation and mindfulness and ending with a question-and-answer session. Online event hosted through Zoom. Space is limited. Registration required. Registrants will receive the Zoom link via email 24 hours prior to start time. Ages 18 yrs.+
Notes for participants:
Create your space - You want to create a space that is quiet and free from distraction. Have a comfortable chair to sit on and plan to wear comfortable clothing. If possible, turn your phones and other devices off, place them outside the room you are in, and avoid any interruptions or distractions during the time we spend together.
Check it out - Test all your equipment: speakers, mic, camera and make sure all are in working order before the session. Set up, when possible, with your lighting beside or in front of you, not behind. We also recommend using a wired internet connection if available.
